release (apollo version)

i keep some first ideas stored in a separate folder. i always liked this idea because of the distorted melody in it, but it was very tricky to built some decent stuff around it. i'm not quite sure about the drums, maybe i'll rework this with some minimal-style ones. i don't really know why, but the feel of this track reminded me a lot of the movie 'the right stuff', and black and white pictures of test-pilots and rockets. or the thrilling combination of danger and freedom, hence the title of this track. for the same reason, i added the audio of the apollo 11-launch as it was broadcasted back then. some of you might not like this (similar to 't minus', i have a version without it of course), but i personally enjoy how the countdown brings it to a climax.
